Donate To Help At-Large Cherokee Citizens

Your donation helps at-large Cherokee citizens facing non-recurring, emergent financial distress.

Why Give $18.35?

The Treaty of New Echota was signed on December 29, 1835, which led to the forced relocation of our people, the Trail of Tears. Cherokee At-Large citizens are like seeds.  From the reservation, the wind broadcasts our lives in four directions, to take root as First Responders, armed forces careers, professional careers, and careers that lead to fulfilling contributions in their communities.  We are Cherokee no matter where we take root.

Your gift of $18.35  is a practice of Cherokee culture deeply rooted in the concept of interconnectedness, where helping others is not just a choice but a fundamental responsibility for maintaining balance in the world.  Generosity without expectation are Cherokee values that teach no matter where we are, we are Tsa la gi a li sda li ha Tsa la gi (Cherokee helping Cherokee).

Why Give Each Month?

By giving each month, you help us to be able to anticipate a yearly cash flow that helps us to provide assistance to Cherokees in need that do not reside within Cherokee Nation making them ineligible for many assistance programs provided by the tribe itself.

With recurring donations, you will receive a tax receipt and it will automatically process on the same day each month so you can also anticipate and plan your financial assistance accordingly.

Want to Become a Partner?

Whether you are an individual seeking to help us in a large-scale way or a business looking to help us with our mission, becoming a partner means you will get access to tabling at in person events, be featured in our new quarterly newsletter, and receive a fun welcome gift including stickers and window clings to broadcast your charitable actions.

Thank You to Our Monthly Donors!
